Camera shots: The Establishing shot/Wide shot at 0.52 successfully shows us the full room the old lady was in and shows us that we are in the 1960s. This shot was used to give us a perspective of what era we were in, as the furnishing and the candles are not something you would typically see in the 1980s to the 2000s. Also, this shows us the settings the others are in through the computer, with the blue and black colours showing us that it could be some sort of sci-fi show. The close-up shots from 1.10 to 1.20 establish that all the characters seem focused and determined. This emphasises the importance of what is going on, as we see close-ups of all of the characters' facial expressions. This communicates the intensity of the rest of the clip and implies to us that the whole show is going to be intense.
