4) Who is the regulator for TV and Radio in the UK? You can find details on this in the notes above.

The regulator for TV and Radio is Ofcom ( The office of communications ) and they have a code of conduct that all media must follow like not having anything 14+ before 9pm , which is the watershed.

5) How is TV and Radio regulated by Ofcom?

They both can not contain anything violent or anything that is not PG friendly before the watershed, which is at 9pm. If they do contain it then Ofcom will take it down and at worse cases they may fine them.

6) How do Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain? Answer this question in at least 150 words.

Doctor Who helps BBC to inform, educate and entertain. There aren't many instances where Doctor Who informs but they do educate as they mention complex topics in science like the fourth dimension and especially for the time not everybody had an education so then Doctor who will educate. It also definitely entertains as the genre is Science Fiction meaning that there are elements that aren't true to real life so this offers escapism, diversion and entertainment. To some extent it does inform as it is, in the first episode, based in the real world and it may offer information on how the world is but this is very unlikely.
His Dark Materials also to some extent inform and it definitely educate and entertain. It educates people on how to act smart and responsible as the main characters are children who are living without parents and all the responsibility lies on them. It also entertains as the world that they live on isn't earth and also it is set in another world meaning that it can entertain others as it is something they don't normally see. The CGI and SFX along with the fast pace camera work and editing make it an entertaining watch.
